For this tutorial you will need the following spared parts and tools

Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1

Before opening the phone you have to remove the SIM card.

Step 2 Battery cover

Help from an opening tool to remove the back cover.

Step 3

Separate the back cover.

Step 4 Battery

Remove the plastics that hold the interconnecting coaxial cables.

Step 5

Remove the shield of the flex cable connector. It is fastened by two Phillips screws.

Step 6

Unplug and detach the flex cable.

Step 7

Unplug and take off the battery. Help yourself by gently prying with a plastic tool.

Do not use force as it can deform and damage the battery. If it does not come off easily you can apply heat with a Hot Glass.

Step 8

Once detached, remove the battery.

Step 9 Housing and rear buttons.

Remove the 8 Phillips screws that hold the housing.

Disconnect the interconnecting coaxial cables and the flex from the rear buttons.

Step 10

Separate the casing carefully.

Step 11 Motherboard

Release the connectors that hold the motherboard.

Step 12

Separate the base plate.

Step 13 Proximity sensor

Remove the small plastic tape that holds both the sensor and the front camera.

Step 14 Proximity sensor

Remove the proximity sensor.
