Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Screws

Remove the 2 Torx screws (T5) from the bottom.

Step 2 Tray

We remove the tray.

Step 3 Back case

Unhook the case, and disconnect the flex from the fingerprint reader.

Step 4 Components

Remove the 6 Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the cover and the depth chamber, and disconnect everything that is connected to the motherboard.

Step 5 Components

We remove the back camera and the depth camera, and disconnect the flex with side buttons.

Step 6 Components

We disconnected the flex from the screen and from the sensors and microphone.

Step 7 Motherboard

Remove the 7 Phillips screws (PH # 00) and we can remove the base plate.

Step 8 Handset

Finally, with the help of a pick we take off the handset that we are going to change.
