We'll start by taking out the casing. As always, using a plastic opening tool to avoid damage.

We lever with an opening tool to remove the battery.

We remove the SD card by pulling it.

We remove the SIM cards before continuing dismantling.

We will remove the 8 phillips screws from the inner housing. One of them hidden behind a sticker on the bottom right.

In addition to being screwed, the housing has notches that hold it to the frame of the screen. We must leverage these notches to remove the case.

We will disconnect the flex from the display. To do this we will first lift the tab of the connector and then pull the flex.

To disconnect the flex from the touch screen we will first lift the connector tab. Then we will take off the flex from the plate and we can disconnect it.

Before removing the plate, if we do not want to desolder the components, we will detach them from the chassis.

To remove the plate, first remove the two phillips screws that hold it to the metal chassis. Then we must take off the bottom carefully as it comes well attached.

We only have to desolder the vibrator. We recommend cleaning the remaining tin with the desoldering mesh.
