Step 1 Hisense HS-U980

Before starting, make sure that the mobile is turned off.

Step 2 Back cover

Remove the back cover with the opening tool. The plastic will avoid scratching or damaging the casing.

Step 3 Battery

Remove the battery by pulling on the bottom.

Step 4 SIM and SD cards

Remove the SIM and SD cards.

Step 5 Screws

Remove the 10 Phillips screws that hold the housing. Notice that one is hidden by a red sticker.

Step 6 Intermediate housing

Remove the intermediate housing by inserting the tip of the tine into the joint and moving it along the contour.

Step 7 Motherboard connections

Remove the adhesives that cover the flex connectors on the motherboard.

Step 8 Flex with volume and ignition pushbuttons

Unplug the flex with the side buttons on the base plate, by pulling on the tab of the connector and pulling gently.

Step 9

Also disconnect, the data flex from the screen on the motherboard.

Step 10 Motherboard

Remove the 3 Phillips screws that hold the motherboard.

To remove the plate, it is also necessary to detach the vibrator, since it is welded to it.

Step 11

Separate the base plate by gently prying with the black opening tool.

Disconnect the upper end of the coaxial cable to remove the plate.

Step 12 Handset

Finally, with the curved tip tool, detach the headset from the chassis.
