Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove back casing

To remove the back cover, we introduce an opening tool between it and the frame and doing lever movements we will unhook it.

Step 2 Remove intermediate housing

In this step, we remove the fourteen Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate casing. Then, as in the back case, we will lever to unhook it.

Step 3 Disconnect components

Now we take off the flex push-buttons on the side of the chassis frame. We will also disconnect the battery and the digitizer.

Remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the motherboard but we still do not remove it.

Step 4 Removing the motherboard

To remove the motherboard, first disconnect the coaxial cable which we had forgotten. Then we will lift it from the top to disconnect the flex from the display.

Step 5 Heat screen

We remove the battery to detach the flex from the display of the chassis. We also take off the digitizer flex at the top.

Then we heat the screen at about 60 ° C for about a minute to soften the adhesive.

Step 6 Fullscreen

With the hot screen, we introduce a tool between it and the frame and, sliding it around the contour, we will be able to detach it.

Before lifting the screen, make sure that the flex on the screen is detached from the chassis and disconnected from the bottom plate.
