Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Separate screen

We will start by removing the two Pentalobe 0.8 screws (TS1) that we will find in the lower part. This will allow us to open the screen, for that we will pull the latter and the casing to separate them.

With the tool that we show, it will be very simple and the flex of the home button will not be in danger. In case of not having it, we will have to carry out this step with great care.

Step 2 Disconnect home button flex

Before lifting the screen further, we will have to disconnect the flex from the home button on the motherboard. To do this, first remove the metal shield covering the connector.

Step 3 Disconnect screen

In order to disconnect the screen, first we will have to remove the shield covering the connectors. This is fastened with four Phillips screws (PH # 00).

Step 4 Screws and SIM tray

In the first image, we show the place where the screws are that we will be removing in the following steps. The screws with internal thread, we can remove them with a flat screwdriver.

We remove the tray from the SIM card and remove the screws.

Step 5 Disconnect components

We begin to remove the screws, we can leave some to hold the plate while disconnecting the components.

We will disconnect the flex buttons, the bottom flex and the battery.

Step 6 Removing the motherboard

Remove the remaining screws and the upper ground contact.

Now we can undo the motherboard.

Step 7 Motherboard

It would only be necessary, if necessary, to remove the coaxial cable from the motherboard.
